Basketball Game Preview: Goochland Bulldogs vs. Fluvanna County Flying Flucos

Goochland hasn't had much luck against Fluvanna County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The two teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played.

On Thursday, Goochland took a blow against Orange County, falling 63-23. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Fluvanna County beat Waynesboro 60-52 on Thursday. That looming 60-52 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Flying Flucos yet this season.

Goochland's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Fluvanna County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.

Goochland didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Fluvanna County in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 58-52 win.
