Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Comes Up Short

Grace Christian lost against Christ the Cornerstone Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grace Christian Wildcats were beaten by the Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders 69-31.

Will Jackson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, going 11 for 27 on his way to 26 points and seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least a third of Christ the Cornerstone Academy's points. Mac Hunt was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points.

Grace Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Grace Christian will host Columbus Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Christ the Cornerstone Academy has already played their next match, a 50-29 win against Antioch Christian Academy on the 9th.
