Softball Recap: Sunbright Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Sunbright's offense. They came up short against the Coalfield Yellow Jackets on Monday, falling 16-0. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Sunbright's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Coalfield, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunbright will head out to take on Clarkrange at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coalfield, they will head out on the road to challenge Oliver Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coalfield knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Oliver Springs likes a good challenge.
