Soccer Game Preview: Evergreen Park vs. Tinley Park

Evergreen Park is 1-8 against Tinley Park since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out to challenge the Titans at 4:30 p.m. Evergreen Park is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Evergreen Park proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by nine) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Oak Lawn, sneaking past 1-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Tinley Park was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They came up short against St. Laurence, falling 3-0. Tinley Park's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Tinley Park's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Evergreen Park, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Evergreen Park suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Tinley Park in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
