Soccer Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Buckeye Valley Barons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Centennial of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Buckeye Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5-3.

Looking ahead, Centennial will challenge Granville at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Buckeye Valley, they will take on Jonathan Alder at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Buckeye Valley's defense better be ready for this one: Jonathan Alder have averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season.
