Soccer Recap: Cedar Comes Up Short

Cedar was the 3-0 winner over Hurricane when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Reds fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. Cedar have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

TyLee Nielson and Halle Miller scored all three of Cedar's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Cedar's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Hurricane, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cedar is set to face off against their familiar foe Crimson Cliffs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hurricane will take on rival Desert Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
