Basketball Game Preview: Auburn Adventist Falcons vs. Taholah Chitwhins

The Auburn Adventist Falcons and the Taholah Chitwhins will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Auburn Adventist will head into Wednesday's contest having proved themselves against Sound Christian: Auburn Adventist took a 22-point loss the last time they faced off against Sound Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Auburn Adventist narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Sound Christian 49-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Taholah had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 67-39 victory over the Acorns. The Chitwhins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Taholah's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.7 points. As for Auburn Adventist, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-5.
