Volleyball Recap: West Holmes Comes Up Short

West Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Wooster Generals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-3, 25-10.

Wooster can attribute much of their success to Baylie Hahn, who had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces Hahn has posted over her last six matchups. Anaca Holcombe also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

West Holmes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Wooster, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Looking ahead, West Holmes will square off against Clear Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wooster, they will take on Nordonia at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
