Football Recap: Holt Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Pickens Academy last Friday, Holt came back down to earth. The Ironmen were dealt a 46-13 loss at the hands of the Fairfield Tigers on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Ironmen of the 35-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Holt has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Fairfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Holt is set to challenge their familiar foe Pleasant Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fairfield will square off against rival West Blocton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
