Lakes got themselves on the board against Grayslake North on Friday, but Grayslake North never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Knights 35-0. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 28-point advantage.

Lakes' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ean Ankney, who threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns. Mason Gialo did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 67 receiving yards.

Lakes didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Robbie Siebert, Anthony Perna, and Ben Ortegel picked up one apiece.

Lakes pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.0 points over those games. As for Grayslake North, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
