Soccer Game Preview: Foothill vs. Mater Dei

The Foothill Knights will take on the Mater Dei Monarchs in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Friday, Foothill and Tustin finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Mater Dei kept a clean sheet against Mission Viejo on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Diablos.

Santiago Schelotto and Isaih Covarrubias scored both of Mater Dei's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Foothill's draw makes their record 3-6-3 this season. As for Mater Dei, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
