Greenway has gone 7-1 against Tempe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Greenway Demons will get right back to it and host the Tempe Buffaloes at 5:30 p.m. Greenway will be strutting in after a victory while Tempe will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Greenway humbled Independence with a 61-19 victory. The Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 35 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Tempe's good fortune finally ran out last Tuesday. They took a hard 49-30 fall against Moon Valley.

Greenway will need focus on slowing down Kiari Montanez-Woods, one of several Tempe players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 11 points. That was a full 36.7% of Tempe's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Samarah Massicot, who had nine points.

Greenway's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Tempe, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Greenway against Tempe in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, as the squad secured a 67-22 victory. Will Greenway repeat their success, or does Tempe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
