Williamston waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Mason Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 on Tuesday.

Jaiden Griffith was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Katie Bush, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Williamston's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Mason, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Williamston will square off against rival St. Johns at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mason is set to challenge their familiar foe Haslett at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
