Barron entered their tilt with Ladysmith on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Lumberjacks 3-0. The Golden Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lumberjacks, too.

Barron walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-7, 25-16.

Barron found their leader in sophomore Xendra Jilek, who had eight digs and three aces.

Barron's record now sits at 23-3. As for Ladysmith, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-16.

Looking ahead, Barron will head out on the road to face off against Hayward at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ladysmith, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against McDonell Central on the 4th.
