Basketball Recap: Welsh Comes Up Short

Welsh lost against Lake Arthur back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Welsh Greyhounds took a blow against the Lake Arthur Tigers, falling 72-39.

Welsh has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Lake Arthur, their win bumped their record up to 7-15.

When Welsh and Lake Arthur next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Welsh will face off against Midland and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lake Arthur will try to stop Lafayette Christian Academy's 12-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
