Softball Recap: Chinle Wildcats vs. Monument Valley Mustangs

There's no place like home for Chinle, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Monument Valley Mustangs 7-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Charmayne Charley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned runs on eight hits and racked up 13 Ks. What's more, she gave up only five walks, the fewest she's had since back in March of 2024.
