Softball Recap: South Webster Takes a Loss

South Webster was the 4-1 winner over Northwest when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Jeeps lost 17-7 to the Mohawks on Friday.

Addi Claxon was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Kaylee House was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

South Webster's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Northwest, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Looking ahead, South Webster will take on River Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Jeeps are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Northwest, they will square off against Oak Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
