Nipomo has gone 8-2 against Mission College Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Titans will venture away from home to face off against the Royals at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Nipomo didn't have quite enough to beat Orcutt Academy and fell 3-2. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Nipomo sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 20-25, 25-19, 23-25, 19-17.

Meanwhile, Mission College Prep lost 3-0 to Cabrillo on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Royals in their meetings with the Conquistadores: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-14.

Nipomo's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Mission College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 3-22.

Everything went Nipomo's way against Mission College Prep when the teams last played back in March, as Nipomo made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
