Football Recap: Wasatch's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

There's no place like home for Wasatch, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 13-7 victory over the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Wasps as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Joseph Bradley threw for 68 yards on eight of 14 attempts. Cache Coombs was his top target, picking up 53 receiving yards. On the ground, Ben Brand rushed for 82 yards.

Wasatch's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Maple Mountain, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Wasatch and Maple Mountain could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings. The Wasps will challenge Springville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (61 vs. 15). Meanwhile, Maple Mountain (ranked 71st) will meet Orem (ranked 12th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
