Volleyball Recap: Kiowa Takes a Loss

Kiowa lost against Genoa-Hugo/Karval back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kiowa was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Genoa-Hugo/Karval work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 26-24.

Kiley Kuhn paced Kiowa's offense, picking up eight kills. Kuhn got some help from Rylee Wyer and her nine assists.

Kiowa's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Genoa-Hugo/Karval, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Kiowa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cheraw on the 11th. As for Genoa-Hugo/Karval, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Burlington on the 11th.
