Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Lafayette walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Maconaquah Braves on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Red Devils, who have now won four matches in a row.

West Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Maconaquah, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 23-9.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, West Lafayette and Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Maconaquah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
