Basketball Recap: Rehmat Mann and Tristen Debenedetti Secure Win for Kimball

The Kimball Jaguars didn't have too much trouble with the Aspire Langston Hughes Academy Titans on Monday as they won 76-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

Leading Kimball to victory were Tristen Debenedetti and Rehmat Mann. Debenedetti went 8-for-13 on his way to 22 points along with five assists and four steals, while Mann shot 70% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Those 18 points gave Mann a new career-high. Alexandros Goumenidis was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was ANDREW GARCIA, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of JERSHAWN TREVILLON, who earned 13 points.

Kimball's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Kimball has already played their next contest, a 64-63 victory against Patterson on the 25th. As for Aspire Langston Hughes Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-48 win against Johnson on the 1st.
