Softball Recap: Palmdale Comes Up Short

Palmdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-3 to the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Vallorie Ochoa Scott was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Hennessy Medellin was another key player, going 3-for-2 with two doubles.

Even though they lost, Palmdale was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Palmdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5.

Palmdale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Eastside on the 4th. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Hamilton on the 3rd.
