Basketball Game Preview: Northwest Mounties vs. Chelsea Bulldogs

The Northwest Mounties will head out on the road to face off against the Chelsea Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Northwest will be strutting in after a victory while Chelsea will be coming in after a defeat.

Northwest took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They snuck past Western with a 61-56 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mounties as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea suffered their closest loss since February 19th on Thursday. They fell just short of Dearborn by a score of 70-67. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Chelsea dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Northwest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Northwest might still be hurting after the 74-50 loss they got from Chelsea when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Northwest avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
