If Central was riding high fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Northern Cambria on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dragons came up short against the Altoona Mountain Lions on Saturday, falling 20-12. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Wyatt Dilling was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. Cortlyn Hetrick also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Altoona, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will square off against Hollidaysburg at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Altoona, they will challenge Cedar Cliff at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
