Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Victorious

Calvary Christian Academy won the last time they faced Radford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Defenders skirted past Radford 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Calvary Christian Academy got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 13-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-12.

Calvary Christian Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Radford, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Calvary Christian Academy will face off against rival Father Yermo at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Radford is set to square off against their familiar foe Job Corps at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st.
