Soccer Recap: Union County Takes a Loss

Union County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Greer Middle College Blazers, falling 14-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Union County of the 8-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Greer Middle College, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-2 record this season.

Union County will be playing in front of their home fans against York at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greer Middle College, they will face off against Providence at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Greer Middle College are facing Providence at the right time seeing as Providence are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
