Soccer Game Preview: Grayslake North vs. Grayslake Central

The Grayslake North Knights will challenge the Grayslake Central Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grayslake North knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Grayslake Central likes a good challenge.

Grayslake North is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Richmond-Burton just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They and the Rockets finished up their contest with a 4-4 draw. The result kept Grayslake North happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 24th.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Grayslake Central's offense. They came up short against Lakes last Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for Grayslake Central in their meetings with Lakes: they've now lost four in a row.

With that draw, Grayslake North's record moves to 10-3-2. As for Grayslake Central, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Grayslake North was able to grind out a solid win over Grayslake Central in their previous meeting back in April, winning 3-1. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
