New Heights Christian Academy had won two straight games and Lilly Plassman did her part to make it three on Monday. The Cougars came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the McDonald County Mustangs for which the team can thank Plassman, who had 25 digs and five aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last nine times she's played.

New Heights Christian Academy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 21-25, 20-25, 25-18, 18-16.

New Heights Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-9-5. As for McDonald County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16-2 record this season.
