Joliet West came tearing into Saturday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 20-8 win over the Plainfield South Cougars. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois flag football rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Cougars are ranked 130th).

Londyn Clemons had another great game (as she tends to do), rushing for 85 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

Joliet West's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Plainfield South, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Joliet West didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 25-14 win against Plainfield East on the 24th. As for Plainfield South, they have also already played their next game, a 41-0 victory against Horizon Science Academy-Southwest on the 22nd.
