Softball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem's last matchup with Bayside could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Thursday. The Sundevils lost 11-0 to the Marlins. The defeat continues a trend for the Sundevils in their meetings with the Marlins: they've now lost three in a row.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Bayside, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salem will take on Nansemond River at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bayside, they will welcome Green Run at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Marlins are facing the Stallions at the right time seeing as the Stallions are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
