Oxnard kept a clean sheet against Rio Mesa on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Rio Mesa Spartans as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Considering the Yellowjackets have won five games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Justin Cruz and Christian Steffenauer scored all three of Oxnard's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Oxnard's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four matchups. As for Rio Mesa, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxnard will host Dos Pueblos at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Oxnard is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season. As for Rio Mesa, they will square off against St. Bonaventure at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
