Tuscarawas Central Catholic came out on top against Fairless on Thursday thanks in part to Stella Everett's efforts. The Falcons had no answer to Everett as she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). Everett has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Everett and Tuscarawas Central Catholic will be playing at home against Minerva at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Saints had to take a loss when they last met the Lions, but Everett had little to do with the loss: she struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk).
