Jett Marshall gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March of 2024 on Friday. He was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Weed is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-8 otherwise.

Marshall's strong effort led Weed over Trinity and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
