Volleyball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lighthouse Christian extended their losing streak to seven on Thursday, dropping them down to 8-8. They lost 3-0 to the Hagerman Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

Elsie Hagan paced Lighthouse Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Hagan got some help from Reese Franklin and her 13 assists.

As for Hagerman, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

Leading Hagerman to victory were Addi Chizum and Alexis Beutler. Chizum had 25 digs and three aces, while Beutler had 33 assists and eight digs. That's the most digs Beutler has posted over her last six contests.

Coming up, Lighthouse Christian will head out on the road to face off against Grace Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hagerman, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hansen on the 22nd.
