Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Creighton Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trinell Parker, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Parker's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Conner Peters was another key player, going 6 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Omaha Westside on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Omaha Northwest as Omaha Westside made off with a 63-41 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.
Creighton Prep better focus on containing Emre Gedik and Tyson Odvody as the pair were huge in Omaha Westside's win. Gedik went 7 of 10 on his way to 18 points and five boards, while Odvody dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Donnie Barfield, who posted eight points.
Omaha Westside smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matches.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Creighton Prep has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 25.8 boards per game. However, it's not like Omaha Westside struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Creighton Prep couldn't quite finish off Omaha Westside when the teams last played last Tuesday and fell 63-61. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Gedik, who went 8 of 14 on his way to 20 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Now that Creighton Prep knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
