Meanwhile, Mill Valley earned a 66-58 win over Olathe North on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Mill Valley's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Lawrence Free State, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season.

Things could have been worse for Lawrence Free State, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 68-50 loss to Mill Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mill Valley's Reece Riedel, who went 11-for-12 to rack up 30 points and six boards.
