Softball Recap: King's Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact King's Academy can now relate to. They fell 5-1 to the Dorchester Academy Raiders on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

King's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Dorchester Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

King's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dorchester Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-5 win against Lee Academy on the 10th.
