It was another big night for James Nowell, who went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 0 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was King Moody, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-34, which was the final score in Marion-Franklin's tilt against the Nubians on Friday.
Eastmoor Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Marion-Franklin, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11.
Eastmoor Academy barely slipped by the Red Devils in their previous matchup back in January, winning 66-65. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Marion-Franklin's Terry Black, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds.
