Dallas Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 12 on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-10 in the process. They lost 19-9 to the Trinity Christian Academy Warriors. On the bright side, the nine- run performance marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring game to date.

William Russell stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Sam White, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

As for Trinity Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by seven runs or more this season.

On Trinity Christian Academy's side, Cruz Pyeatt was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. Those three RBI gave Pyeatt a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Nutt, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles.

Dallas Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-4 defeat against Heritage Christian Academy on the 18th. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will square off against St. Paul's Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
