Soccer Game Preview: Belton-Honea Path vs. Pendleton

Belton-Honea Path hasn't had much luck against Pendleton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bears will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Belton-Honea Path will be strutting in after a win while Pendleton will be coming in after a defeat.

Belton-Honea Path was handed a three-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They beat Crescent by a goal, winning 1-0. Belton-Honea Path wouldn't have won without Dawson Knight, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Pendleton's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to Fountain Inn. Considering the last time Pendleton couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Belton-Honea Path's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Pendleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Belton-Honea Path suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Pendleton in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
