Caleb Brown Turns in Season-Best Performance

Sadly, Caleb Brown posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Neptune over Pinelands Regional on Friday. Brown rushed for 205 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 63 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run.

Neptune now has a losing record at 3-4. Brown and Neptune will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Freehold Boro at 12:00 p.m. on November 2nd.

Cole Torres Has Career-Day on Friday

On Friday, Shore Regional got the W thanks in part to Cole Torres playing the best football he has all season. Torres rushed for 180 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 62 yards.

The win for Shore Regional keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Torres and Shore Regional will welcome Asbury Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Shore Regional Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Josh Moeller

Josh Moeller's big game helped extend Shore Regional's winning streak to seven on Friday. Moeller turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 120 yards and a touchdown, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. What's more, he also racked up 24 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September of 2023.
