Volleyball Recap: Walton's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Walton waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Marietta Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Leading Walton to victory were Janie Myers and Ella Cobb. Myers had nine digs and two aces, while Cobb had seven digs and one assist. What's more, Myers racked up 32 assists, the most she's had since back in September.

Walton's win bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Marietta, their loss dropped their record down to 16-11.

As of now, neither Walton nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
