Lyford never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Santa Rosa Warriors 15-0. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Diego Medina, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Palmer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Lyford is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Santa Rosa, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Lyford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-8 victory against Progreso on the 12th. As for Santa Rosa, they are taking a road trip to face off against Rio Hondo at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
