Palmer entered their tilt with Gladewater on Friday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bears.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19.

Kayleigh Easley paced Palmer's offense, picking up seven kills. Easley got some help from Kinsli Plough and her eight assists. Easley also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Reagan Davis, racking up two apiece.

Palmer's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Gladewater, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Palmer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Maypearl on the 16th. As for Gladewater, they will challenge Carlisle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
