Williamsburg strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their game with ease, bagging a 48-6 win over the Clermont Northeastern Rockets. That looming 48-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Williamsburg got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon Hittle out in front who picked up 109 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 70 yards and one score. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 70 yards. Another rusher making a difference was Gray Robinson, who gained 179 total yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Williamsburg was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 366 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clermont Northeastern only rushed for seven.

Williamsburg's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Clermont Northeastern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
