Soccer Recap: Arroyo Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Artesia last Saturday, Arroyo Valley came back down to earth. The Arroyo Valley Hawks took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kaiser Cats on Friday. The Hawks were probably out for revenge after losing 3-0 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jairo Arechiga and Jesse Olivas scored both of Arroyo Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Arroyo Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-2. As for Kaiser, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Arroyo Valley has already played their next game, a 9-1 victory against Eisenhower on the 15th. As for Kaiser, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Jurupa Hills on the 15th.
