Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Lima Christian's Third in Last Four Outings

Hinsdale Central came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Lima Christian, but Alyssa Marsh wouldn't allow it. Everything went the Lima Christian Saints' way against the Hinsdale Central Bobcats on Saturday as the Lima Christian Saints made off with a 46-21 win thanks in part to Marsh, who dropped a triple-double on 35 points, 11 rebounds, and 17 steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Lima Christian's points.

Lily Swan was another key player, putting up four points and 11 boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Lima Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Hinsdale Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lima Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mount Morris at 5:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for Hinsdale Central, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Hinsdale Central Bobcats duke it out with the West Valley Central Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
