Softball Recap: Treasure Coast Takes a Loss

Treasure Coast's last matchup with Centennial could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Titans came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Treasure Coast saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Echeverria, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Treasure Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Centennial, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Treasure Coast will head out on the road to challenge Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centennial, they will host Port St. Lucie at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.33 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
