St. Peter has gone 10-0 against Fairmont recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The St. Peter Saints will head out to challenge the Fairmont Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, St. Peter took their matchup with ease, bagging a 62-28 victory over Worthington. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Trojans are ranked 321st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairmont). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Blue Earth 89-32. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Fairmont's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. As for St. Peter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

St. Peter took their win against Fairmont when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 63-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Peter since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
